Columbia Heights Library

All Anoka County Libraries including the Columbia Heights Library will be closed Saturday May 27- Monday May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday, May 30 at 9AM.


Bookawocky and Wacky Wednesdays will be back this summer at the library!

Bookawocky is our Youth Summer Reading Program.  It begins June 1 and goes through August 19.  Come to the library this summer to read some books, rate some books, and have a chance to win prizes!

Wacky Wednesdays are free, hour long performances in the library.  No registration required, but please come a few minutes early to get a seat so the show can start right at 2PM.

A triple header! Three local authors read from and discuss their writing, including "Poor Millionaires: the Village Boy who Walked to the Western World and the American Boy who Followed Him Home," by Nathan Roberts, "Remember the Words," by Barb Saefke, and new works by Pat Stinson.

Conversation Circles
Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-2 PM
Conversation circles is an informal weekly gathering of English-language learners.  It gives adults a chance to practice their speaking skills in a group setting with help from an English speaking volunteer.  Registration is NOT required, the group is open to anyone.
